अक्षरधाम मंदिर,
नई दिल्ली में बना स्वामिनारायण अक्षरधाम मन्दिर एक अनोखा सांस्कृतिक तीर्थ मंदिर है। इसे ज्योतिर्धर भगवान स्वामिनारायण की पुण्य स्मृति में बनवाया गया है। यह मंदिर १०० एकड़ भूमि में फैला हुआ है।अक्षरधाम मंदिर दुनिया का सबसे विशाल हिंदू मन्दिर परिसर होने के नाते २६ दिसम्बर २००७ को यह गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकार्ड्स में शामिल किया गया।
Akshardham Temple,
Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in New Delhi is a unique cultural pilgrimage temple. It is built in the pious memory of Jyotirdhar Lord Swaminarayan. The temple is spread over 100 acres of land. Akshardham Temple being the largest Hindu temple complex in the world, it was included in the Guinness Book of World Records on December 26, 2007.
मयूर द्वार-भारत का राष्ट्रीय पक्षी मयूर, अपने सौन्दर्य, संयम और शुचिता के प्रतीक रूप में भगवान को सदा ही प्रिय रहा है। यहां के स्वागत द्वार में परस्पर गुंथे हुए भव्य मयूर तोरण एवं कलामंडित स्तंभों के 869 मोर नृत्य कर रहे हैं यह शिल्पकला की अत्योत्तम कृति है।
Mayur(peacock) Gate - Mayur-(peacock), the national bird of India, has always loved God as a symbol of his beauty, self-control and purity. Here 869 peacocks of the magnificent peacock toran and ornamented pillars are dancing in the welcome door, this is the best work of art.
अक्षरधाम मन्दिर को गुलाबी, सफेद संगमरमर और बलुआ पत्थरों के मिश्रण से बनाया गया है। मन्दिर की दीवारों पर बनी सूंदर कलाएं है और मंदिर की दीवारों के चारों तरफ बनी हांथी की मूर्तियाँ इस मंदिर को और भी अदभुत बना देती है। इस मंदिर की ख़ास बात ये है, इस मंदिर को बनाने में स्टील, लोहे और कंक्रीट का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया गया।
Akshardham Temple is built with a mixture of pink, white marble and sandstone. There are beautiful arts made on the walls of the temple and the sculptures of handi around the walls of the temple make this temple even more amazing. The special thing about this temple is, steel, iron and concrete were not used to build this temple.
अक्षरधाम मंदिर की मुख्य ईमारत एक सरोवर से घिरी हुई है जिसे नारायण सरोवर कहा जाता है, जिसमे देश की तक़रीबन 151 विशाल सरोवर और नदियों का पानी भरा हुआ है। सरोवर के पास ही में 108 गौमुख भी बने हुए है और माना जाता है की यह 108 गौमुख 108 हिन्दू भगवान का प्रतिनिधित्व करते है।
The main building of the Akshardham Temple is surrounded by a lake called Narayan Sarovar, which is filled with about 151 large water bodies and rivers in the country. 108 Gaumukh(Cow's mouth) is also built near the lake and it is believed that 108 Gaumukh(Cow's mouth)represents 108 Hindu God.
मंदिर को बनाने में लगभग पांच साल का समय लगा था। श्री अक्षर पुरुषोत्तम स्वामीनारायण संस्था के प्रमुख स्वामी महाराज के नेतृत्व में इस मंदिर को बनाया गया था। करीब 100 एकड़ भूमि में फैले इस मंदिर को 11 हजार से ज्यादा कारीगरों की मदद से बनाया गया। पूरे मंदिर को पांच प्रमुख भागों में विभाजित किया गया है। मंदिर में उच्च संरचना में 234 नक्काशीदार खंभे, 9 अलंकृत गुंबदों, 20 शिखर होने के साथ 20,000 मूर्तियां भी शामिल हैं। मंदिर में ऋषियों और संतों की प्रतिमाओं को भी स्थापित किया गया है।
It took about five years to build the temple. This temple was built under the leadership of Swami Maharaj, the head of Sri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha. Spread over 100 acres of land, this temple was built with the help of more than 11 thousand artisans. The entire temple is divided into five major parts. The temple consists of 20,000 sculptures with 234 carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 shikhara in high structure. Statues of sages and saints have also been installed in the temple.
मिनारायण हिन्दू धर्म के अनुसार, अक्षरधाम शब्द का अर्थ होता है भगवान का वास और अनुयायियों द्वारा इसे पृथ्वी पर भगवान के एक अस्थायी घर के रूप में मन जाता है। ये मंदिर भगवान स्वामीनारायण (1781- 1830), जो हिन्दू धर्म के महान संत थे के लिए एक विनम्र श्रद्धांजलि है। अक्षरधाम मंदिर में 200 से अधिक मूर्तियां है, जो कई सदियों के आध्यात्मिक दिग्गजों का वर्णन करती है। अक्षरधाम मंदिर के आध्यात्मिक प्रतिज्ञा है की प्रत्येक आत्मा में परमात्मा विलीन है।
According to Minarayan Hinduism, the word Akshardham means the abode of God and is considered by the followers as a temporary home of God on earth. The temple is a humble tribute to Lord Swaminarayan (1781– 1830), a great saint of Hinduism. The Akshardham temple has more than 200 sculptures, which describe spiritual giants of many centuries. The spiritual vows of the Akshardham Temple are that the divine is dissolved in every soul.
इस मंदिर में 148 जीव अकार के हाथियों की प्रतिमाये है जिनके वजन लगभग 3000 टन है। मंदिर के मध्य गुबंद के नीचे स्वामीनारायण की 11 फुट (3.4m) ऊँची मूर्ति है जिसमे स्वामी जी मंदिर के समर्पण के लिए अभय मुद्रा में बैठे हुए है। स्वामिनारायण जी की मूर्ति के चारो ओर गुरुओं की आस्था के वंश की छवियाँ है जिनमे वे या तो भक्ति कर रहे है या सेवा की मुद्रा में विराजमान है। अक्षरधाम मंदिर की प्रत्येक मूर्ति पंच धातु और हिन्दू परंपरा के अनुसार पांच धातुओं से बनी है। मंदिर के भीतर सीता राम, राधा कृष्ण, शिव पार्वती और लक्छमी नारायण की मुर्तिया विराजमान है।
This temple has 148 Jeevakar statues of elephants weighing around 3000 tonnes. Under the central dome of the temple is an 11-foot (3.4m) tall statue of Swaminarayan in which Swamiji is seated in the Abhaya Mudra for the dedication of the temple. Around the statue of Swaminarayan ji there are images of the lineage of the faith of the gurus, in which they are either doing devotion or seated in the service posture. Each idol of Akshardham temple is made of five metals according to the Panch Dhatu and Hindu tradition. Murtia of Sita Ram, Radha Krishna, Shiva Parvati and Lakshmi Narayan is enshrined inside the temple.
मंदिर में प्रवेश और समय-Temple entry and time
मंदिर में प्रवेश फ्री है लेकिन अंदर जाने के अलग-अलग चार्ज हैं।मंदिर में अंदर जाने के लिए कुछ विशेष नियम भी बने हैं। प्रवेश करने के लिए ड्रेस कोड भी बना है। आपके कपड़े कंधे और घुटने तक ढके होने चाहिए। अगर आपने ऐसे कपड़े नहीं पहने हैं तो आप यहां 100 रुपये में कपड़े किराए पर भी ले सकते हैं।
अक्षरधाम मंदिर में आप मंगलवार से रविवार निर्धारित किये गए समय के अनुसार प्रवेश कर सकते है। मंदिर में सुबह 9:30am बजे से शाम 6:30pm बजे तक प्रवेश किया जा सकता है, परन्तु ध्यान रहे अक्षरधाम मंदिर सोमवार के दिन बंद रहता है। मंदिर परिसर में प्रवेश करने के लिए आपको समिति द्वारा निर्धारित किये गए शुल्क अदा करने होते है। मंदिर में कई स्थानो में प्रवेश के शुल्क देने होते है जिनके विवरण नीचे दिया गया है।
Entrance to the temple is free but there are different charges for entering. There are also some special rules for entering the temple. There is also a dress code to enter. Your clothes should be covered to the shoulders and knees. If you have not worn such clothes, then you can also rent clothes here for 100 rupees.
You can enter the Akshardham temple as per the scheduled time from Tuesday to Sunday. The temple can be entered from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, but remember that the Akshardham temple remains closed on Monday. To enter the temple premises you have to pay the fees prescribed by the committee.
